Show Dates and Schedules

ARNISS EQUESTRIAN UNAFFILIATED SHOW JUMPING & DRESSAGE LEAGUES 2012

League tables will be run for both Show Jumping and Dressage through until end June 2012.

You may enter as few or as many competitions as you wish, and all competitions will have rosette prizes to 6th place.

The names of all competitors will appear on the Arniss League Tables, separate league tables will be compiled for riders age 14 and under, and riders age 15 and over. Points will be awarded from 12 points (1st place) to 2 points (6th place) for each class. Riders who are unplaced will obtain 1 point for each class entered.

Rules of the shows & Conditions of entry
1. All persons attending the show under the age of 16 must have a parent or guardian with them at all times.
2. Entry to Arniss Equestrian assumes acceptance of the show rules and conditions.
3. All persons attending this show, do so at their own risk, The land owners and organisers of the show do not accept responsibility for any accidents to people , animals or property.
4. Hard hats up to current standard including PASO15 or BSEN1384 standard, properly fastened, are obligatory for all riders whilst mounted. It is strongly advised that body protectors are worn for jumping. Skull caps compulsory for cross country events.
5. The organisers reserve the right to decline an entry without giving reason.
6. All horses that are entering ridden classes must be 4 years of age or over .
7. In the event of the show being cancelled all entries will be refunded less an administration charge.
8. The organisers reserve the right to split any class if seen fit.
9. All competitors are strongly advised to ensure that they carry adequate third party liability insurance.
10. All drivers must obey instruction from parking stewards and officials on show ground.
11. Any act of discourtesy or disobedience to any judge or official on the part of the exhibitor, groom or rider of an animal, will, at the discretion of such official, disqualify the animal from being judged, in which case entry fees and charges will be forfeited.
12. Competitors entering classes that may clash do so at their own risk. No entry fees will be refunded. It is left to the discretion of judges whether to allow persons arriving late at their ring to take part in the class.
13. No unauthorised person or horses to enter any ring without having been given permission from steward or official.                                                                      14. Competitors numbers (when issued) must be clearly visible.
15.  Two refusals on the course results in elimination.
16. Wrong course results in elimination.
17. Riders sustaining a fall automatically retire.

18. Under no circumstances should there be horses in the pedestrian area at any time.
19. No cantering or galloping in lorry park.
20. No whips or canes to exceed 30 inches in length.
21. No Dogs except guide dogs, on the showground.
22. Objections or protests must be made in writing with the objectors full name and address within 20 minutes of the event concerned and lodged in the secretary’s tent together with £20. This sum will be re-funded if the objection is sustained, or forfeited if the objection is found to be frivolous or incorrect in any detail.
23. The judges decision is final.
