HORSE & PONY EXPERIENCE DAYS

Experience owning your own horse or pony for a day

Spend either a half day or a full day at Arniss Equestrian!

As long as you are of 11 years or over, and able to walk, trot & have a go at canter then we have a horse riding experience suitable for you.

All experience days include a lesson in the morning, and then through the day stable management & horse care activities, all tailored to your level of experience.

Those with little horse care knowledge learn about grooming, saddlery, feeding etc. Those with more knowledge may be involved with activities such as turn out of a horse for a show, including plaiting etc.

For those on a full day experience the afternoon session comprises hacks or competitions e.g. dressage or show jumping depending on ability.
